We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the efficient delivery of goods to our customers, ensuring that all items are loaded, transported, and unloaded safely and effectively. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, capable of heavy lifting, and possess a strong work ethic. This position is essential in maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Starting Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 DOE

Shift: Monday - Friday

Start Time: This will range from 5:00 am to 10:00 am depending on the route assigned

Responsibilities

• Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.
• Ensure that all items are securely loaded to prevent damage during transit.
• Help navigate routes and provide support during deliveries.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks to facilitate the movement of goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the delivery vehicle and warehouse area.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery status.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in moving or warehouse environments is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with commercial driving practices is a plus; experience driving box trucks or vans is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
• A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required.

Requirements

• Clean Background
• Clean driving record - NO DUI
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• High school diploma or equivalent - Required
• One year delivery experience and knowledge - Preferred
