Job Description

Connect Staffing is hiring Electric Pallet Jack Operators for a high-volume 3PL distribution center in Houston, TX. We have temp-to-hire openings across multiple shifts, paying $16–$18/hr. In this role, you will operate an electric pallet jack to move and transport product throughout the facility, pull and pick customer orders, and scan merchandise using RF equipment. All three shifts run Monday through Friday with no overtime expected.

Schedule:1st Shift: Mon–Fri 2:00 AM–10:30 AM | 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri 10:30 AM–7:00 PM | 3rd Shift: Mon–Fri 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Pull and pick customer orders from warehouse locations for outbound shipment.
• Scan merchandise using RF equipment before relocating product to a new area.
• Receive and stage inbound product and transfers in designated areas.
• Transport picked orders to the dock using the electric pallet jack.
• Verify correct product count and type before loading and shipping.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections on the EPJ.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of electric pallet jack (EPJ) or material handling equipment experience in a warehouse or distribution center.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating rider or walkie electric pallet jacks specifically.
• Familiarity with RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Experience in a 3PL, distribution center, or high-volume fulfillment environment.
• Ability to read and follow pick tickets, packing slips, and shipping labels.
• Experience with warehouse staging and product flow.
