Job Title: .Net Full Stack Engineer

Duration: 36 Months with Possibility of further extension

Location: Brooklyn, New York (Onsite at DSS Data Center 505 Clermont Ave, Brooklyn, NY)

Project: Data Center Co-location and Migration Project

Project Overview:

• This project focuses on the development, modernization, and migration of enterprise applications to support the data center co-location initiative
• The .NET Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for designing and rebuilding legacy applications using modern .NET technologies (.NET Core, Web APIs, Angular/Blazor) while ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and databases
• The role includes re-engineering existing applications, improving performance, and implementing scalable, secure solutions aligned with SDLC and Agile practices
• Additionally, the project involves integrating with enterprise content management systems such as IBM FileNet, optimizing database operations, and deploying applications across Windows and Unix/Linux environments
• The overall goal is to deliver high-performing, user-friendly, and future-ready applications that support business operations during and after migration

Required Skills:

• Candidate must have 8+ years' experience with application design, development, maintenance, and support with the following skills.

• Must have strong C# application development experience (both web and backend) as below:
• Object Oriented programming (Java, C#, Python) and development
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript with latest frameworks
• .Net web services/API
• ASP.net webform, MVC, Angular and Blazor
• .Net framework and .Net Core
• Strong Database knowledge (SQL and Oracle)
• Ability to create tables, views, write queries and stored procedures
• Analyze query performances
• XML and JSON data modeling schema
• Experience on Internet Information Server (IIS) in windows environment. Knowledge on Apache Tomcat and WebSphere in Unix/Linux environment is A+
• Understanding of both Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile project methodologies
• Experience with UI and UX design tools. Experience with DevSecOps tools. Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) development
• Experience on re-writing .net framework application to a new development platform

Technical Tools and technologies:

• .NET Framework (4.7.2 / 4.8) and .NET (Core 8)

• C#, ASP.NET WebForms / MVC / Web API, Entity Framework / ADO.NET

• Oracle Database (PL/SQL, packages, stored procedures), SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, stored procedures, optimization)

• IBM FileNet P8 (Content Engine, Process Engine, GraphQL/REST APIs), IBM FileNet Image Services, ECM APIs (SOAP, REST, .NET SDK)
