Job Description

Join our team as a Production Associate where you will assist with production activities while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all the requirements outlined in the company's Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plan for Safe Quality Food (SQF) compliance. You will play a key role in maintaining sanitation, traceability, and quality standards while performing tasks such as assembling or disassembling lines, managing chocolate levels in tanks, collaborating on production lines, maintaining cleanliness, and conducting process monitoring.

• Follow all safety and cGMP guidelines as per the company's Food Safety and Quality Programs.
• Assemble and disassemble production equipment such as extruders and enrobbers.
• Handle raw materials into processing tanks, including chocolate chips and yogurt.
• Operate flow pack machines, adjust settings for mini or regular bars, and monitor performance.
• Place packaging material into machines as needed.
• Monitor the production process and adhere to production guidelines and specifications.
• Report any Food Quality or Food Safety issues to management or the Food Safety Committee.
• Communicate any deviations observed during the process to supervisors or leads.
• Conduct basic quality and testing checks, including weight reports, metal detectors, and tunnel condensation.
• Maintain a clean workstation and general production area.
• Report waste and document reports for Quality Assurance (QA) checks and traceability.

• Experience with production and GMPs.
• Ability to operate filling machines and ensure quality standards.
• Monitoring production of various size bars.
• Documentation and reporting for QA and traceability.
• Cleanroom practices, inspection, and packaging skills.

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• 1 year of packing work experience, preferably in a food processing facility.

Work schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:30pm to 9:00am, allowing you to work 36 hours while being paid for 40 hours. Join a food manufacturing environment that strictly follows GMP guidelines. Please note that no jewelry or make-up is allowed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Piscataway, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Piscataway,NJ.
