Job Description

As an Airport Security Officer - CCTV in Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer the CCTV unit you will not only be monitoring CCTV cameras and coverage of all the airport property. This position also includes being dispatched to door and gate breaches to ensure procedures have not been violated.

Position Type: Full Time - Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee .

Requirements:

• 21 years of age
• Security Experience: 1 years
• CCTV/Dispatch Experience: 1 years
• Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast pace environment
• Must be able to pass a psychological evaluation
• NOTE: Will be working different posts in order to understand the geography of the airport

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors travelers and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals public areas access points parking areas and perimeter locations noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and restricted areas in support of access control procedures helping to deter unauthorized activity and directing individuals according to site policies.
• Assist with crowd management wayfinding and public assistance during routine operations delays and/or emergency situations while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
