Job Description

About the Role

This is an excellent growth opportunity with a rapidly scaling startup. The ideal candidate is early- to mid-career, has at least 1 year of experience contributing in a team or agency setting, and is hungry to make a big impact.

Your Purpose

You will be responsible for driving awareness and engagement across Forecastr’s social media channels and converting that exposure into captured leads.

This is an entry-level marketing role. You will join a small, high-impact B2B growth team with shared objectives. We measure results carefully and prioritize efficient strategies.

You will have primary responsibility for the brand’s social media presence. You’ll identify creative ways to expand our audience across channels and engage potential clients everywhere online.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create Content: Maintain a consistent posting cadence across several Forecastr-affiliated social media accounts, with an emphasis on LinkedIn.
  • Drive Lead Generation: Engage directly with prospects and followers to educate and serve our target audience of entrepreneurs and finance professionals.
  • Drive Creative Direction: Create original campaigns and content sequences that creatively communicate Forecastr’s story and value through video and visuals.
  • Develop Brand Voice: Become fluent in Forecastr’s finance-centric messaging, delivered through a friendly, casual, and relatable voice.
  • Grow Forecastr’s Social Footprint: Apply proven growth strategies to expand reach and exposure across LinkedIn and other social networks.
  • Become an Educator: Help make complex finance concepts accessible to people without a finance background.
  • Contribute to Team Goals: As a small team, we pitch in where needed. ~20% of your time will support website, email, and general copywriting efforts.

Skills & Experience

  • Portfolio: You have a portfolio of creative work you’ve pitched or executed – show us your best work and your best results. Video content is strongly encouraged.
  • Edge: A little edge goes a long way in this role. We want someone who can capture and share our story in original, compelling ways.
  • Capable Writer: You can communicate complex ideas clearly and engagingly, and you’re comfortable asking people to take action.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: You’re comfortable experimenting with new tactics and trailblazing new opportunities.
  • Marketing Experience: You understand core marketing processes and best practices in a professional environment.

You will be expected to be able to:

  • Maintain a consistent flow of original content across multiple channels.
  • Create content that drives engagement and participation.
  • Identify creative ways to share Forecastr’s story and highlight our biggest wins.
  • Communicate effectively with prospects, followers, and customers across DM, email, video, and phone.
  • Measure and report performance across social channels and into the revenue pipeline.
  • Contribute meaningfully to broader team goals and initiatives.
  • Attend team meetings and report on progress and priorities.
  • Manage your schedule and workload across multiple concurrent channels and conversations.
  • Collaborate across the company to create original content and campaigns.

What Success Looks Like

  • You consistently ship content without needing to be chased.
  • You engage directly with our audience and create real conversations.
  • You test ideas, learn quickly, and double down on what works.
  • You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks.

Compensation:

$65k - $70k + stock options + benefits

Note: This is a Telecommute/Work from Home position, with a strong preference for candidates located in Louisville, KY
