What To Expect
As a Staff Construction Project Manager, you will be playing a critical role leading construction projects at Tesla Fremont. You will be evaluating, awarding, and mobilizing contractors/subcontractors and coordinating all field operations. In addition, you will be facilitating the close out of any site queries (RFI) with Engineering, Quality, Commissioning or Manufacturing teams, stewarding contractor/subcontractors for required deliverables, while driving execution schedule and budgets.

What You'll Do

Successfully manage complex contracted and self-performed construction projectsCreate, steward, drive project schedules, solving critical paths and communicating roadblocks and capable to influencing and resolving site issuesManage contractors effectively, efficiently and safety; develop and maintain site logistics and execution plansWork with engineering teams to resolve design roadblocks strategicallyEnsure installation meets end users’ requirements and quality expectationsSchedule and lead quality control and all necessary inspections such as with city, vendor; oordinate tool install move-in, anchoring and utilities hook-up effortsSupporting commissioning team with punch closing, testing, energization, and start-up efforts

What You'll Bring

Minimum 10 years of experience driving the execution of construction projects in manufacturing/industrial environmentsAbility to evaluate multidisciplinary drawings and coordinate cross functionality to ensure on-time executionEvaluate and develop fragment schedules to aid in accelerated completionsFamiliar with code compliance and building occupancyAbility to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goalsExcellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and organization skillsConfident in decision making ability and coordinating among key stakeholders

Expected Compensation

$144,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
