Overview
Registered Nurse - L&D is needed for a 13-week travel assignment in Utica, New York. The role focuses on the labor and delivery unit within a hospital setting. Start date is 07/13/2026. The position offers a weekly pay range of $2,308 to $2,455, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is night-based, typically 12-hour shifts in a 2x3 nights pattern. This assignment requires experience in obstetric care and use of Epic/Stork for charting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
- Monitor labor progress, assist with deliveries, and support newborn care
- Manage GYN patients and routine obstetric assessments; respond to obstetric emergencies
- Coordinate with the obstetric care team, anesthesia, OR staff for C-sections, and post-anesthesia recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic/Stork and ensure timely communication with the care team
- Support unit operations with patient triage, bed management, and appropriate patient handoffs
- Floats to designated units as needed with adherence to scope of practice and patient safety

Requirements
- 4–5 years of L&D nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
- Epic/Stork experience required
- Ability to care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, GYN, and newborn patients
- Willingness to float to other units (medical-surgical, pediatrics, or adult floors) as needed within scope
- Eligible or active RN licensure in New York
