Overview
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position in Great Barrington, MA. Start date: May 11, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,312–$2,370 per week. Shift: 5x8 rotating. Setting: hospital. This is a travel - temporary assignment with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor complex cardio-pulmonary care treatments per physician orders
- Manage ventilator support, airway clearance strategies, and related therapies; adjust settings as directed
- Assess respiratory status, interpret data (including ABGs), and document findings in the patient record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the health care team; communicate changes in patient status
- Maintain equipment and adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Cross-train in cardiovascular services as needed (EGG, stress tests, Holter monitors, Event Monitors, EEGs) and support the cardio area when required
- Document care and outcomes in the electronic health record and participate in care planning

Requirements
- Massachusetts Registered Respiratory Therapist license in good standing
- Active NBRC RRT certification (CRT not eligible)
- Active American Heart Association BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
- Minimum 5 years of current RRT experience
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to cross-train in cardio services and travel requirements: must have own vehicle and include permanent address in profile
