Visiting Part-Time Faculty Position in French Description The Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position to teach one French language course during the Fall 2026 to begin in late August 2026, and one French language course during the Spring 2027 to begin in late January 2027. Candidates must have native or near-native proficiency in French and English, a Master's degree or above (including ABD) with expertise in French language and culture.
There are no employee benefits associated with this part-time visiting faculty appointment. Compensation for teaching one course in the Fall 2026 and the Spring 2027 semesters is $8000 per course.
The College will not support H-1B visa applications that require the $100,000 employer fee.
Qualifications Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching and inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
