Medical Receptionist

We have an immediate need for a receptionist in Weslaco TX. Full-time M-F 7-4.

• Inform clinical director of progress changes outstanding or late lock dates
• Assist with entering of patient demographic data.
• Greets people as they enter the office answers calls answers general questions screens visitors and delivers messages
• Maintains the files supplies postage and general office condition in an orderly manner
• Handles correspondence and word processing for the Organization. May type memos agendas or maintain meeting minutes
• Makes appointments and informs staff members of meetings
• Process office mail
• Photocopying as required
• Answers telephone inquiries and channels them appropriately
• Performs other duties as required

• Excellent customer service skills
• 1 year experience performing medical office duties
• Ability to type at least 40 wpm
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Bilingual preferred
