Job Description



The Spanish Translator supports the successful delivery of trainings, onboarding programs, meetings, and operational communications by providing live English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English translation services. This role helps ensure all team members have access to clear communication, learning opportunities, and brand education while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.

This position is scheduled on an as-needed basis depending on business and training needs.

  • Provide verbal translation support during:
    • New Hire Orientation
    • Brand Trainings
    • Department Meetings
    • Leadership Trainings
    • Safety and Compliance Trainings
    • Special Events and Operational Meetings
  • Translate communication between facilitators, leaders, and team members in a clear and professional manner.
  • Support an engaging and inclusive learning environment for Spanish-speaking team members.
  • Assist with translating written materials, training documents, or presentations when requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company information, team member discussions, and training content.
  • Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled training sessions.
  • Communicate professionally with all departments and leadership teams.
  • Adapt translation style and tone appropriately to the audience and operational environment.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Spanish required.
  • Previous translation or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to support varying training times.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and move throughout training sessions as needed.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both English and Spanish for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally lift training materials or supplies up to 15 pounds.
