Job Description

Required Qualifications:

• Familiarity with theoretical population models
• Some experience with programming in R
• Some knowledge of jellyfish and fish

This position will involve conducting research in collaboration with Dr. Allison Shaw. The primary goal is to use a mathematical model to study the commensalist interaction between fish and jellyfish and how it is impacted by ongoing ocean acidification. This will entail refining an existing mathematical model, reading scientific literature, and writing up a draft manuscript for publication.


85% - Research duties related to mathematical modeling
15% - working on draft manuscripts
